Smoothie Recipes

Do you get your recommended 5-7 servings of fruits and veggies a day? My husband and I were not getting enough, so we started drinking smoothies. It’s the easiest and quickest way to ensure we’re getting the nutrition we need. Now we can’t imagine a morning without them. Here’s the “recipes” we’ve created. Enjoy!

Berry Smoothie

Berry-licious Protein Smoothie

~ 1 cup Mixed Berries (blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries)

~ 3-5 Strawberries

~ 1 Banana

~ 2-3 handfuls of Kale

~ 1 Scoop of protein powder

~ A splash of Chocolate Milk

~ 1 Raw Egg

~ 1-2 tbsp Flaxseed

Green smoothie

Lean Mean Green Fighting Machine Smoothie:

~ Half a mango

~ 1 Orange

~ 1 Apple (with peel)

~ 2 Strawberries or a few chunks of pineapple

~ Splash of fruit juice

~ 2-3 handfuls of spinach leaves

~ 2-3 handfuls of kale

~ 1-2 tbsp Flaxseed

Experiment with the amount of each ingredient until it tastes just right or substitute different fruits and veggies until it’s perfect! What are your favorite smoothie recipes?
