Fair Fashion ~ H&M Conscious Exclusive Spring 2014 Collection

H&M’s third Conscious Exclusive collection (launching April 10th) is the perfect way to welcome Spring! The season that exudes new life and a fresh start is synonymous with the core values behind the H&M Conscious initiative to promote a more sustainable fashion future.  It’s a glamorous collection with a passionate flamenco influence and a touch of bohemian flair. It’s crisp color palette of dark blue, powder pink, beige and white, with it’s opulent details of embroidery, lace and beads proves that sustainable fashion is not just for the granola. All the fabrics and details are made of organic, recycled and cellulose fibers. Even the beads are made of recycled materials. These collection pieces are emotional and fulfilling; pieces that you’ll have in your closet for years to come.

Here’s a few of my favorite styles. Check out the entire collection (including some fabulous accessories!) at H&M.com

What pieces will you be adding to your personal collection?

Sustainable fashion is not a not a new idea, but H&M is making what used to seem a little extreme, glamorous and accessible. This is the new frontier for fashion; let’s be part of it!

  1. The black dress is beautiful and I love the white lace. Not sure if I will buy anything though, they are beautiful to look at but I wouldn’t have anyplace to actually wear them!
